Devon Valley Beauty Pageant 

A beauty pageant which drew a full hall was organised on 6 September in Devon Valley under the leadership of Christelene Davids. The aim of the Miss Devon Valley Beauty Pageant is to instil more confidence in the young models, expose them to different cultures and celebrate Heritage Month. Apart from the pageant, cultural dances and singing also formed part of an excellently produced programme. The appreciative audience included residents from Jamestown, Kayamandi, Devon Valley, Vlottenburg and Cloetesville.
