Endler Concert Series
A Heritage Celebration Concert was held on Saturday 22 September 2018 in the Endler Hall under leadership of Pamela Kiernan, Fiona Grayer and Brent Reynolds, in cooperation with the e’Bosch Heritage Project for 2018. It was a celebration of young talent from various Stellenbosch and Cape Town communities. Three different wind bands (University of Stellenbosch Symphonic Wind Ensemble (USSWE), the Cape Town Philharmonic Youth Wind Ensemble and WindWorx Symphonic Wind Ensemble) combined with some of the choirs from the e’Bosch Primary School's Choirs.
The addition of the school choirs to this concert was a valuable asset to the production and really promoted the integration of different communities and schools through music, while at the same time bringing the school children to the Endler Hall to perform in collaboration with wind ensembles. The concert was made possible by the Rupert Foundation’s funding for USSWE, Social Impact funding and Wendy Ackerman sponsorship for Centenary Events.
