e’Bosch Festival of Talents 28 September 2019
e’Bosch Festival of Talents 2018
e’Bosch held a Festival of Talent in the Jan Marais Nature Reserve on Saturday, 29 September 2018. With a sponsorship from Nedbank, artists from the e’Bosch dorpies presented their talents that varied from arts and crafts and local culinary treats to music, singing and dancing before a small but enthusiastic audience.
The event included a Zumba session, performances by, among others, Meraki, a local band led by Leonard Simmers from Cloetesville, Stellenbosch B-Boys, a band with members from Eersterivier, Lynedoch and Stellenbosch, as well as a rieldans group and YDC, a Cloetesville dancing group.
Other very talented artists included the internationally known singer and Matie alumnus, Mynhard Kruger, well-known singer and songwriter, Marthie Nel-Hauptfleisch, followed by the 12-year-old Toby de Ruiter, a pupil of Rietenbosch Primary School in Cloetesville.
The e’Bosch Festival of Talents is an excellent example of e’Bosch’s ability to bring diverse people together to celebrate and honour each other’s culture and traditions.
