Workshop 1:  28 May 2022 – Organizational Development
Venue: Markotter Sports Complex

On 28 May 2022, Stakeholders and 53 facilitators from 11 Dorpies attended the first of 5 sessions at the Markotter Sports Complex.
Stakeholders have come together to ensure that a wide range of school holiday programmes are made available across the length and breadth of Stellenbosch.
Facilitators benefit from the training offered in certain areas to keep school-going children and -youth constructively busy during the three-week winter school holidays.
This workshop covered organization compliance, devotions, the 40 developmental assets, holistic child development, health and safety, and compassion days.
The partners include many of the organizations that took hands in the “Keep them safe” project. The founding partners for the 2022 programme are the Stellenbosch Municipality, Markotter Sports Field Stellenbosch, e’Bosch Heritage Project, The Stellenbosch Academy of Sport, Stellenbosch Asset Builder Network, Serve Stellenbosch, Stellenbosch Child Ministry, StellCare/StelSorg – Stellenbosch and Districts Family Services, Work 4 A Living and aQuelle.
