Kayamandi Elders Breakfast 2019
Kayamandi Under 11 Soccer Cup 23 - 24 September 2018
The annual 11-soccer tournament organised by Silulami Mbokwana was held on 23 and 24 September at the Khayamandi Stadium.
This e’Bosch Soccer Tournament for under-11 junior teams playing in the Stellenbosch Local Football Association is organised as an activity taking place in Khayamandi as part of the e’Bosch Heritage Festival. It was first held on Heritage Day, 24 September 2015.
The objectives of the soccer tournament are to bring the communities around Stellenbosch together, facilitate social cohesion and develop a better, safer and healthier greater Stellenbosch through sport, especially for juniors. It also offers young players an opportunity to be seen by talent scouts for the Vodacom League, National First Division and registered football academies in South Africa.

Kayamandi Under 11 Soccer Cup 24 - 25 September 2017
The 3rd Annual tournament of the e’Bosch Under 11 Cup was held on the weekend of the 24th – 25th September, 2017. The tournament was a great success with over 14 teams drawn and 13 teams showed for the tournament. With players, coaches, parents and supporters, an estimated 500 people visited Khayamandi for the weekend. The aim of our tournament is to raise the awareness of the e’Bosch Heritage Project which seeks to unite the people of Stellenbosch and create a community who; 1) knows one another, 2) appreciates one another, and 3) respects one another.
On behalf of the e’Bosch and the Organising Team, I would like to thank all of the Stellenbosch LFA, players, parents and supporters who volunteered their time at the tournament. I would also like to thank our coaches, team managers and referees.
Without your support it would not be possible to host this event. We are looking forward for your support in 2018. We welcome all comments and recommendations to make this tournament more exciting, inclusion of all team from different dorpies and be educational.
Thank You,
Silulami Mbokwana

Kayamandi Erfenisprojek 2017

Kayamandi Erfenisprojek 2016
Kayamandi is a diverse community and rapid growing daily. The projects in Kayamandi implemented in association to e'Bosch are as follows;
The 75th Anniversary is Kayamandi’s milestone event seeking to facilitate social cohesion, build pride, promotes unity and common neighbourhood to attest that Khayamandi is an integral part of Greater Stellenbosch. This event will draw together, community, business, youth, community organisations, media and visitors from all over Greater Stellenbosch and the world to celebrate the Khayamandi’s heritage, diversity, richness and dynamism.
Kayamandi is a small black human settlement that has gone through various stages of establishment under the auspices of the previous Stellenbosch Municipality since 1918 to 1923 and in the late 1930s they started to build this community in the outskirts of Stellenbosch and officially declared it as such in November 1941.
This is our 6th Annual Festival, celebrating the wonderful cultural diversity of our community. A lot has happened and achieved since the inception in 2011; our community continues to grow and is stronger now than it has been. Just like the change taking place here in Greater Stellenbosch, our annual cultural Festival celebration just keeps getting bigger and better!
The KACF is becoming one of Kayamandi’s landmark events. The festival is aimed at discovering the beauty and pride of our community, neighbours’ and friends.
