Johann Kriel Murray

Johann Kriel Murray is an engineer and one of the founding pillars of the eBosch Heritage Project, with a career defined by leadership, innovation, and service.

He graduated from Stellenbosch University in 1966 with a degree in agricultural engineering and went on to establish the first consulting agricultural engineering firm in Stellenbosch.

Paul Roviss Khambule

Director

Paul Roviss Khambule is a warm and energetic leader who brings people together through community-driven initiatives, with a strong focus on development, culture, and connection.

His journey with the eBosch Heritage Project began in 2012 through his work with the Lokxion Foundation, where he supported young people in discovering their potential through sport and the performing arts.

His commitment to community development led him to take on the role of Director of the eBosch Heritage Project in 2024, where he continues to champion initiatives that build strong and self-sustaining communities.

For Paul, development is deeply personal. He believes in working alongside communities, creating opportunities that empower women and youth, and supporting initiatives that are owned and driven by the people themselves.

This approach is reflected in his involvement with the Imbadu Cooperatives Group, where he contributes to projects that strengthen local economic participation and shared ownership.

His vision for eBosch is rooted in building Stellenbosch from the ground up, creating sustainable social and economic structures that leave a lasting legacy for future generations.

He believes that by nurturing collaboration and community-led initiatives, eBosch can help reshape the narrative of Stellenbosch and highlight the strength, creativity, and resilience within its communities.

Outside of his work, Paul has a passion for food and coffee, often exploring new flavours and experiences that reflect the diversity of culture and connection he values so deeply.
